As a Host, you're the first face guests see at Inspiration Brewing Co. — setting the tone for their entire visit with a warm welcome and smooth, organized seating.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome every guest as their first point of contact in the restaurant
- Manage the server rotation to keep sections balanced and service flowing smoothly
- Answer phone calls, take carryout orders, and enter orders accurately into the POS system
- Use seating and reservation software to manage the waitlist and reservations
- Maintain an organized, welcoming host stand and entryway
- Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest flow during busy periods
REQUIREMENTS
- No experience required; prior host experience preferred
- Familiarity with seating/reservation software preferred (OpenTable a plus)
- Comfortable answering phones and operating a POS system
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Friendly communication style and a team-first attitude
